Let's Talk About Sex

Where there is so much sex all over, on television radio and magazines. We are a nation that feels it is a subject that is talked about behind closed doors. As if it is a dirty thing. This three letter word that is as close to the four letter word, has been around for centuries, still causes so much controversy. Racy TV shows that both men and women watch wishing it was them having that hot passionate sex...with that hot girl, or that hunky guy. We want great sex we just want to keep it hush hush. In the 50's that is exactly what happened. In the 60's and 70's it was all about the love and the 80's, geez, we dressed for sex. The 90's brought us Salt n Pepa "Let's Talk About Sex" along with Color Me Badd, " I Want To Sex You Up ", we couldn't get enough of these sex songs. We sing to them, we dance to them, but when it comes to talking about sex, it turns into a no no subject. I mean it okay to talk about a sex encounter you may have had with a close friend. But to get down and dirty, doesn't seem to go over to well. Men do have their dirty sex talk among their friends, but it is gross how they talk, degrading and they belittle women. I think men want to have sexy woman but they think a lady in a panty and bra is a naughty girl that needs to be spanked. No bra and underwear is essentials. Just like men wearing boxers, brief or speedos, whatever tickles you’re fancy. So maybe men made sex so dirty. If men see a lady that is dressed sexual, they think that woman has got to be a sex feen. Instead of thinking this is a confident person that is able to bring out her sexy side. It's ashamed that we see sex as something dirty. It's okay to have all these ads that have fourteen year old girls model in they undies. It is a double standard then when it is in reality. Why? Making love, sex and a naked body is a beautiful thing. Woman need to start loving there body and becoming more confident, to walk naked. To wear that sexy low cut blouse, and have a huge chest and not think anything more, what men will say? Woman should feel beautiful, wonderful, and fabulous. Men need to learn to respect how they talk to women. So for those women that feel so shy about sex, or the women that love sex, we need to learn we can have sex, and talk about it. xo Barbara Jeanne
