Stretching Is Very Important!

Stretching is so important, it not only helps long gate your joints and limbs but it keeps the blood flowing which is so helpful for your circulation. It also is good for those aches and pain as well as those that suffer from arthritis. By stretching you are circulating the blood to get to the injured areas in your body. Bringing a good blood flow to the area is what helps to heal the injury. You don’t have to get into all crazy positions, first bring your arms over head nice and high as if you are reaching for the ceiling and hold. Drop your arms now to the side and reach you right arm overhead tilting your body slightly to the left. Do the same with the left arm tilting slightly to the right. You should feel a stretch all the way down to your waist throughout you rib cage. Bending you knees then you waist, hang your arms down like an elephant and swing gently. Slowly roll your back up. When you are almost reaching the point where your neck is tucked down take a deep breath through your nose, continue up slowly as you stand straight exhale. Step you right leg forward and put your butt in a sitting position, then do the same to the other leg this is good for you hand strings. Next put your foot upward / like the symbol towards the wall to stretch your calves, do both feet. Lastly tuck your chin towards your neck, hold. Then look right and hold, left and hold. You have now hit almost every area of the body. Look for my stretching video coming out, it will show you in more detail. This should take no more than a few minutes but will help do wonders for your body. Barbara Jeanne xo
