ABS & WAIST

CRUNCHES HELPS EVERYONES WAIST LINE, THEY ARE FREE AND TAKE MINUTES. PUT ON A COUPLE OF YOUR FAVORITE SONG AND CRUNCH AWAY. AS YOU GO ALONG MOVE YOU LEGS IN TO DIFFERENT POSITIONS. JUST REMEMBER TO KEEP YOU BODY IN LINE. AS FOR YOUR WAIST, PUT YOU ARMS WITH YOUR ELBOWS BENT CHEST HIGH AND DO 2 SETS OF 16 TO THE RIGHT, THEN DO 2 SETS OF 16 TO THE LEFT. NEXT LEAN TO THE RIGHT WITH YOUR RIGHT HAND TO ABOUT YOUR KNEE AND BACK UP.  DO 2 SETS OF 16 TO THE RIGHT, THEN 2 SETS TO THE LEFT.DON'T FORGET TO STRETCH. TIP OF THE DAY, MAKE A BANANA AND BERRY DRINK. THE DARKER THE BERRY THE BETTER THE ANTIOXIDANTS, BANANAS ARE GOOD FOR POTASSIUM. ENJOY XO BARBARA JEANNE

TAKE THE WINTER BLUES AWAY

For most this has been a horrible winter. The kind of winter you want to hibernate and not come out till you feel some type of warmth. It is so bad I know people who are going away and charging the whole trip not having the money. The need to go south is stronger then the lack of funds. This winter is a frosty one, that brings on the chills, colds and the blues. So how can you escape when you have nowhere to go. You have paradise in your house. Go into a dim room and close your eyes, Make sure you are away from as much noise as possible. Put on soothing music if you like, or none is just as good and try to not think about anything. Picture yourself on an island or some place warm. Relax your muscles. You can start at your toes and work you way to you head. Allowing to relax, let go of all your troubles, all those aches and pains. Take deep breaths, filling you tummy with air then exhaling. Try this for at least ten minutes to start and continue longer. If you have the time. Another on is put lit candles around a room that you love the scent. Try to keep it light and apply a heating pad on light heat on your back and neck, for about 10 minues. After, strecth the areas. If you have someone that is willing swap backrub, that is the best. Nothing is better than the real thing. Tip of the day, there are so many healthy relaxing teas now. Grab a cup and snuggle into a really soft blanket, or your lover arms and make love. This is a good time to rekindle your love, there is not much more to do...xo Barbara Jeanne

Eat Good

All those foods that are processed and high in perservatives are foods to avoid. They are loaded with sodium, dye and ingredients that aren't natural. Leaving it hard for your body to break down. Yes the are quick and easy, even taste good. Although bad! Stay with natural foods and keep reading and I go in depths with tasty foods that are good for you. As well as boost your metabolism. Tip of the day, fruit is great! Some may be high in sugar so stay with citrus and make it a point which ones are good before you dive into the fruit basket. XO Barbara Jeanne

More Than a Pretty Face

Tonight, out and about. I saw a very pretty girl. Beautiful blue eyes, flowing healthy hair and a unforgettable smile. With a cute little boy by her side. Why am I telling you about someone that is not important to you and you don't know. Because, although you can tell she had the confidence from her younger days. She had uncertainty from being over weight. Which seemed sad, pulling her shirt down to hide her body. Everybodies body changes as we grow older. Hormones change. Woman have children and men may have a few too many beers. Woman may have had a a few too many beers as well. The point is that we need to take care of ourselves. We need to encourage love ones that you see getting out of control. So many people come to me for help, and if they would just realize, that its doesn't start by having a baby. That is a myth, We get out of shape, because we continue to use that as an excuse. Men, there is not excuse, you body is not put through the ringer. Yes ladies you have your grace period but I know everyone I ever trainer says they don't like all those extra ponds. In merchandising, designers are actually making clothes bigger and putting a smaller size on it . Even for me, being 5 '7" and size 5. I find myself in a size zero. So in actuality, it is making us feel better but not helping our waist line. We need a wake up call, to know being over weight is not just a vain issue, it is a health issue. DESSERTS..FUN & TASTEY

Many desserts may be high in calories. Good news that many of you do not realize or know. You can have those desserts that you crave, just not as much as you might like or, if you have the dessert that you have been craving. You can't have that big dinner. You must keep the other meals small. Exchange calories intake, but you need to eat what you like. If you can train yourself to manage your calorie intake, you will conquer the way your body needs to lose or maintain your weight. All those imformecials that say the good sugars, bad sugars, it doesn't matter if you don't exercise and it is too damn confusing. Extra amount of food is going to slow down you metabelisom, even make it become dormant. That is when you put on the weiht faster. Some other people say, you can eat everything you want, as much as you want. That is true but you will be putting on the pounds, unless you do a good amount of exercising. So everything in balance will maintain your weigt. You will have to boost your metabolism to lose weight weight. So what would be considered a tastey good dessert that wont kill us. anything. The amount, small. So if you had a dessert for three hundred calories, that was half of your meal. I think this is the easiest way to lose, or at least maintain, is to count you intake. Imformercials say it is too hard to count. thaty is bull s***! So no gimmicks. No need to buy anything, well beside a calorie...and the have them at the dollar store for a buck! XO Barbara Jeanne
